So usually the calcium containing compounds are kept separate from the phosphate and sulfate compounds. There are some great one-part solutions on the market made by different manufacturers who have found various ways of tackling this problem.General Hydroponic’s Flora Series is the most commonly used hydroponic nutrient on the market. It can work extremely well if you use it properly.
What is the desired temperature range for the nutrient solution? The optimal temperature of the nutrient solution should be in the range of 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Most of the fertilizers readily available are very general purpose mixes that do not work well for all types of plants. The nutrients that we sell are made specifically for plants grown in hydroponics systems that utilize sterile growing mediums. Most commercially available fertilizers are meant for fertilizing plants grown in soil and do not contain all the necessary trace elements.Enhancers are highly recommended but not required with the Flora Nova series. General Hydroponics recommends using their enhancers for the Flora Nova series. Other enhancers such as PK 13\14, Monster Bloom, Bloom Blaster, FulMag, Green Fuse Grow and Bloom and Liquid Karma all can be used with the Flora Nova series.
Why is pH important? It is essential to have constant monitoring of the pH in your hydroponic plants because the pH maintains the level of nutrients in the plant. The pH is one of the determining factors for good growth and production.
What is hydroponics? Hydroponics is commonly referred to as the cultivation of plants in water. However, study shows that various media can support the growth of the plant, so the definition was broadened to the cultivation of plants without soil.Light is, of course, one of the principal requirements for plant growth in a hydroponic system. Most cultivated plants need sunlight. However, when you grow plants indoors, artificial light is usually necessary. The intensity of the light that you are going to use must be high but make sure that it does not increase the temperature. Fluorescent lights offer indoor plants a type of light most similar to sunlight.General Hydroponic’s Flora Series is the most commonly used hydroponic nutrient on the market.
