Where in Atlanta for Best Places for Furniture and Home Improvement?

Where are the best discount businesses in the greater Atlanta area for furniture – new, outlet, consignment, used, antique, any!! Also, to shop for how improvement and building materials, where would you go? Any suggestions for lighting or flooring? All advise greatly appreciated. I’m on the hunt for some good deals!

    IKEA..

    They just opened a big Ikea last year, and its the best place to find cheap furniture….You can also try the Salvation Army, I think there is one on Decatur or Marietta Street, and they have furniture there…As for building materials, I think the best place to go for that is always Home Depot and Lowes.

    I agree Ikea is great. Also there is a used building supply store in the Decatur area. I’m sorry I forgot the name. But if you check the yellow pages for salvage building supplies you may find it.
