My hubby works fulltime for a fire department and they have them on all the engines…He likes them…doesn’t love them, but says that they are really easy to use and compact. I hear they are a pretty penny too.

I bought one of these several years ago because i was painting a commercial stairwell and using one of these ladders was the easiest way to get to the ceiling over the stairs. I bought one almost identical to the little giant, but at about half the price, at Home Depot. I couldn’t justify spending $ 400 for a Little Giant. I still use the ladder a lot and I’m pretty pleased with it. It’s very adjustable as you probably know, and is very stable. It’s worked very well for me. The only drawback on my ladder, which may be different for the Little Giant, is there is no adjustment on the legs for setting up on unlevel ground.

I paid $ 100 for mine from walmart and have seen them at fleet farm for around $ 150. I like mine. The infomercial for the little giant makes operation look easier than I can do it but it works well for me. The one I bought is a 17 ft. cosco ladder. I looked up cosco on line before I bought mine and found lots of usefull info.
    good luck.
