yes as long as you use one that will fit, and i would turn down the speed as well.

    I’d advise against doing this because your variable speed feature starts at 5,000 RPM and goes up to 35,000 RPM. You should be starting around 50 RPM and not exceed 400 RPM. Also the link you shared with us implies that the shank diameter of the bits is 3/8 of an inch which is larger than the capacity of your Dremel. I based this on a model 8000 Dremel tool which matches your description of a 10.8V cordless Dremel.
