I can’t say how accurate this straight edge, but its straight enough for everything I do. I chose this one because of the price and the design. The angled aluminum gives more options for using the tool to check for alignment and stiffens the tool.

This is a well made tool. good heavy material, and I really liked the slide resistant back and the way it is made to protect you from getting cut.
