“With the consumer’s ability to experience different colors, wood species and textures through mediums such as the internet and magazines, the marketplace goes through the in-thing at an alarmingly fast pace, very quickly creating an appetite for something new,” Wiebe said. “This rapidly changing taste in style has forced large and small cabinet companies to have access to a larger selection of stain, paint and glaze colors and techniques on a larger selection of wood species than ever.”
