A Refreshing Update to Health and Safety Training

It's fair to say that health and safety training has had a tendency to take itself too seriously.

Construction GearSo it was only a matter of time before the trainers who deliver the courses would be subject to parody by the likes of of Peter Kay and Ricky Gervais.

Take The Office's Gareth as he demonstrates the correct way to lift. "Keep your back straight and bend your knees," he instructs his lacklustre colleagues as he squats to scoop up an empty cardboard box.

Then there's Peter Kay's highly flammable fire safety officer, Keith Laird, whose dramatic use of visual aids only prompt delegates to mock his boorish intensity.

It's enough to send you reaching for your high-vis jacket faster than you can say: "Auf wiedersehen, pet!"

Thankfully, at Goldcross Training Services we employ a more professional approach to training through quality courses delivered by experienced and engaging tutors.
