I am a residential general contractor. My current project requires that I cut dimensional lumber with lengths of 20 and 24 feet. Previously I had been using one of those single-roller stands that folds up, whether you want it to or not. I wanted something that would be safer, sturdier, more predictable. Of the options I decided to experiment with the Fox Roller Table. I think perhaps this equipment is good for both construction or for light industrial factory and warehouse. I had some initial skeptism, but have found it to be a good investment. First the positive comments… Being a table with multiple rollers, rather than a single roller, the work lays flat and does not crash off balance. It is easy and effortless to slide the work under the saw and back again. I don’t worry about accidents with this table. Now the neutral comments…The design lacks bracing, so it has substantial torsional flex and it can rack. Under extreme lateral loading, legs may collapse. I would not characterize it as heavy duty, but light to medium duty design. Second, the equipment came partially assembled. However, because of the design, it became further disassembled during shipment. After spending some time putting it back together it seems to be ok and will hold. Height adjustment is via collar clamps around tubular legs. The clamps are plastic, life expectancy uncertain. Third, I was hoping for design that could be broken down quickly for storage and portable around a construction site. However, this table requires some patience to set the height and level, and it does not collapse for storage. Instead I have set it up on a flat level slab and just leave it in place. This compromise turned out to be most convenient for me anyway. In summary this roller table was a good choice for supporting work on my level construction site.

I bought one of these recently and found it was less well built than less expensive ones from other suppliers. Came completely disassembled and without instructions. Cheap plastic leg retainers, two of which were already split on arrival.
