These days, the majority of people rent movies regularly. Often we will wait for the DVD rentals to hit the stores, as opposed to watching films at the movie theaters. Here is a short list of some of big winners in the DVD rental world.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: The Indiana Jones adventure continues, after a long break. This is the most recent movie of the exploits of the infamous Indiana Jones. In this, the latest adventure, Mr. Jones it’s the cold war, and the Russians are the enemy. Now, the chase is on for ancient relics called the Crystal Skulls, and the powers they might possess.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Ben Garvey, once a bad boy criminal, is a changed man. With a beauitiful wife and daughter, and a job that pays the bills, he can’t complain. Then, he loses his job, and reverts to his old life of crime. His criminal rebirth is a complete bust, and he winds up on death row. He expects the lethal injection to kill him. Instead, he now finds himself in an insane asylum. He now struggles for his sanity, and his soul.

LINEWATCH: Michael Dixon (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is a respected boarder agent in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Now, things in his past are about to rear it’s ugly head. He was a member of a viscious L.A. gang, before final breaking away. When a chance encounter exposes his whereabouts to his old gang, he and his family are put in a potentially deadly situation. For the sake of his family, he will take a huge risk, and make sure that gang leader drake is able to safely move illegal drugs into the U.S.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This feature film tells a story about Scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who, because of a gamma ray experiment gone bad, as been changed into the Incredible Hulk. This box office hit tells of the marvel comic character the green Hulk. Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, all have roles in this film. Louis Leterrier directs this film. The film style is sci-fi/action-thriller.

DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry (ewan mcgregor) has a chance meeting with big time corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. It is a meeting that will change his life. He is exposed to “The List”, where people find a steamy sexual pleasures. However, he is driven into a world of betrayal, treachery and death.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his missing brother, science professor Trevor Anderson explores caves in Iceland that sends him into the depths of our planet. This is another version of the original 1959 movie, which was about the science fiction book by highly acclaimed author Jules Verne. Cast includes Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers.

THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore, with his wife and many other frightened people are leaving Philadelphia by train. Their city has been thrown into chaos. People have been afflicted by an unusual force, and are taking their own lives. Can mankind find the solution, or are we approaching the finish of man on this planet?

IRON MAN: Weapons developer, business mogal, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. They try to force him to make missiles for the insurgent group. He was wounded while he was being captured, and has shrapnel stuck in his chest. To survive his injuries, and escape this predicament, he develops a suit of armor, which protects and strengthens him. Iron Man is born.

SPEED RACER: An anime-cartoon evolves. Much like the movie The Flinstones, Speed Racer turns a cartoon into a feature film with actors. Speed Racer is a young man who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a major rally car race that had taken the life of his older brother. Against the odds, and his families business at stake, he suprisingly teams up with his enemy of the past, Racer X, in a last ditch effort to give himself a chance to win, and save the family business.
